The base of Parfait’s ice cream contains only four ingredients: MILK, CREAM, SUGAR, and EGGS. Pure and simple, the way ice cream should be. We don’t believe in serving processed, factory-made food, so we prepare all of our products, including our mix-in confections and signature cones, completely from scratch. Each Parfait cone is pressed on a specialty krumkake iron and hand-rolled with care.
All of our dairy, eggs, and produce are sourced directly from local, certified organic farms.
On any given day, we usually offer six flavors, including a vegan sorbet. Parfait proudly makes our own elegant versions of classic ice cream flavors, with a variety of fruit and specialty flavors regularly rotated through the menu according to the season and our inspiration.
Vanilla Bean Our vanilla has a delicate and complex flavor because we infuse our ice cream with only real organic Madagascar Bourbon vanilla beans. We believe using real beans is worth the added effort and expense. Once you taste it, we think you will, too!
Decadent Chocolate Our chocolate has that rich, melted-chocolate-bar taste because we actually do melt rich dark chocolate into our custard. We chose 68%-cacao Dagoba chocolate after extensive blind taste tests of top artisan chocolate brands.
Mint Stracciatella Our mint doesn’t taste like candy canes, but rather fresh mint, straight from the garden. That’s because we steep our custard with real spearmint and applemint leaves. Our delicate, flaky chocolate chips are made using single-origin organic chocolate and traditional Italian methods.
Butter Toffee Crunch We make our own butter toffee, coated with dark chocolate and hazelnuts, and then add generous chunks of this delicious confection to our vanilla bean ice cream. The result is a better tasting version of “Heath Bar Crunch” without any of the artificial or hydrogenated ingredients in industrially manufactured candy.
Meyer Lemon Imagine the same sweet and tangy goodness of lemon curd frozen into a smooth and creamy ice cream. We use Meyer lemons, which are thin-skinned and delicately perfumed.
Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup We make our own organic dark-chocolate peanut butter cups, chop them into hearty pieces and abundantly add them to our Decadent Chocolate ice cream.
Fiorè French Roast True coffee lovers will appreciate that we have chosen the finest locally roasted beans from our favorite organic coffee shop, Caffè Fiorè. Careful steeping methods results in a velvety coffee ice cream with robust flavor and no bitterness.
Hazelnut We think you’ll agree that Parfait’s hazelnut flavor is an improved take on the gelato shop staple, nocciola. We create a sumptuous flavor using real certified organic Turkish hazelnuts.
Milk Chocolate Chai Tastes like really good Mexican hot chocolate with an added level of complexity and spice from ginger, cardamom, and pepper.
Orange Star-Anise Feeling nostalgic for that creamsicle of your youth? Try Parfait’s grown up version. Sweet and creamy citrus balanced with a hint of licorice. Enjoyed by children of all ages!
Cinnamon We use real organic cinnamon sticks to create this spicy-sweet ice cream. Delicious paired with other desserts, or stands alone in a cone!
Wildflower Honey Lavender Amazingly smooth texture with a carefully balanced flavor. Our Honey Lavender has a pleasing floral sweetness with a delicate lavender finish. Not too heavy handed!
Fleur de Caramel A traditional French caramel with a silky texture and beautiful amber color. We use just the right amount of genuine Fleur de Sel to bring out the deep caramel taste. Neither overly salty nor cloyingly sweet.
Seasonal Fruit Ice Creams We offer limited quantities of Strawberry, Blueberry, and Nectarine ice creams when these locally grown organic fruits are ripe and in season.
Seasonal Fruit Sorbets (Vegan) We feature delicious Raspberry, Apricot, Ginger Peach, and Pear sorbets while these fruits are ripe and in season. Don’t be fooled by the surprisingly creamy texture of Parfait’s sorbets...we do not add stabilizers. A divine treat for people avoiding eggs or dairy!
Some notes about our sources
Parfait’s certified organic cream and milk is delivered to our kitchen straight from the Fresh Breeze Organic Dairy Farm in Lynden, WA. The Langley’s are a fifth-generation dairy family. Their cows graze on fresh grass, their products are batch pasteurized, and their outstanding dairy is the best we’ve tasted.
We get our eggs from a special flock of organically raised hens at the family-run Stiebrs Farms in Yelm, WA. The Stiebrs mill their own organic feed and allow their chickens to enjoy a cage-free lifestyle with access to the outdoors.
Our berries, mint, and stone fruits are sourced from a variety of local organic farms including Alm Hill, Full Circle, Tiny’s Organic, and Jerry Pipetone’s organic orchards. We get our delicious certified organic Turkish hazelnuts from the lovely family at Noce Vita in Seattle. Our Meyer Lemons are sent fresh off the trees from Richard and Susan Burchiel’s orchard, Birch Hill Organics in northern California.
We carefully source the ingredients that don’t grow at the 47th latitude from responsible certified organic producers. Parfait uses locally roasted organic coffee beans from Seattle’s beloved coffee house, Caffè Fiorè. We use Wholesome Sweeteners fair-trade organic cane sugar. Our organic fair-trade chocolates are from Dagboa and Republica de Cacao. We use organic Madagascar Bourbon vanilla from Cooks and Nielsen-Massey.
All of our cups, spoons, bowls, napkins, and pint containers are made from biodegradable and compostable materials.
Allergy information
Parfait ice creams and sorbets are gluten free. Our handmade cones contain wheat flour. Our ice creams are made in the traditional French fashion and contain both dairy and eggs. We currently offer three flavors that contain nuts: Hazelnut, Butter Toffee Crunch, and Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup. Parfait does not run peanuts through our ice cream freezer, and we use separate utensils for products that contain nuts.
