ingredients and sources
Parfait proudly uses organic cream and milk, delivered straight to our kitchen from Smith Brothers Farms. Smith Brothers has been the beloved milkman for the Puget Sound for over 90 years, and we can understand why. Their dairy is exceptionally fresh and delicious!
Our cage-free eggs come from the family-run Willamette Egg Farm.
We get all of our chocolate and vanilla beans from Theo Chocolate Company, the country's first certified organic, fair-trade, bean-to-bar chocolate maker. Theo chocolate is made right here in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle.
Parfait uses coffee beans roasted fresh in Ballard by the wonderful people at True North Coffee Roasters.
We use Wholesome Sweeteners fair-trade, organic cane sugar.
We source our local and organic produce from a variety of Washington farms including Hayton Farms, Tonnemakers Orchards, Collins Family Farms, and Oxbow Farms. We even have a working herb and berry garden just outside our shop, where we harvest our own mint, lavender, rosemary, and strawberries!
Our ice creams are made in the traditional French fashion and contain both dairy and eggs. Our handmade cones contain wheat. Some of our flavors do contain nuts. Please let our servers know if you have a nut allergy, and we can use separate scoops and serve from unopened ice cream tubs. We use no corn syrup or soy in our products. Unless there is a cookie or brownie involved, our ice cream is gluten free. We try to always have a few dairy free and vegan options available, too. We can usually accommodate a wide range of dietary restrictions and preferences.
